Homer is a Canberra-based website founded to discuss masculinities and confuse the idea of what it means to be a man.
They're currently calling for submissions for publication on their website. Submissions are open to everyone: men, women, LGBTIQA writers, CALD and ethnically diverse writers.
'Homer is about masculinities, which does not mean it’s by men or even purely for them. Masculinities affect everyone – positively, negatively, differently. However you’ve encountered them, every angle is needed to create as robust and kaleidoscopic a picture of masculinities as they deserve (and sorely need).'
Homer pays for all submissions, and publishes essays, memoir, op-eds, interviews, humour and think pieces. Their submissions page is homeronline.com/submit, and pitches and content can be emailed to email@example.com.
