Call for applications: International women's day committee volunteers

Applications for 2016/17 IWD Committees are now open!

International Women’s Day (IWD) is celebrated annually on March 8. UN Women National Committee Australia provides national coordination of IWD, including hosting major events attended by more than 8,000 people.

The IWD Committees are an integral element of the National Committee’s major IWD events, enhancing their capacity to raise funds for UN Women’s work.

What does the role include?

The role of the IWD Committee is to promote ticket and table sales for the IWD flagship events, contribute local knowledge in the planning and delivery of the events, create a positive experience for all guests and volunteers and help maximise the fundraising outcomes of the event.

UN Women are currently recruiting for a variety of positions on their Canberra, Brisbane, Melbourne and Perth committees.
