Australian National Committee for UN Women internship program

The National Committee offers a competitive internship program, giving interns the chance to work alongside not-for-profit professionals, grow their skills, learn about gender equality and gain extensive work experience. The current round of applications is now open.

Who can apply?

Internships are open to all qualified university or TAFE students and graduates. To be eligible, you must be a member of the National Committee (Membership for students costs $35 annually).

What’s involved?

Successful applicants are required to intern for a minimum of two days a week at the National Committee’s office in Canberra. Internships are unpaid, and vary in length from 3 to 6 months. Internship roles vary depending on the skills and experience of the intern and current projects being undertaken by the National Committee. Applicants should be flexible and willing to learn on the job.

Applications close midnight Monday April 6th.

Further information and details on how to apply can be found on their website.
