The ANU by 2020 Strategic Plan presented by Vice-Chancellor Ian Young in 2011, aims to equal or exceed the Go8 averages for percentages of women at senior academic levels and senior general staff positions by 2020.
ANU Human resources has this week announced the lodgement of its annual public report with the Workplace Gender Equality Agency for the 2012-13 period.
The Equal Opportunity for Women in the Workplace Act 1999 (EOWW Act) has been renamed the Workplace Gender Equality Act 2012 (WGE Act). Transition to the new WGE Act means that for the 2012-13 reporting period, the reporting requirements have been reduced to a workplace profile summary.
In accordance with the requirements of the Workplace Gender Equality Act 2012 (Act), on 27 June 2013, The Australian National University lodged its annual public report with the Workplace Gender Equality Agency (Agency).
A copy of the report can be accessed via the human resources statistics and reports portal.
Human resources advise that all ANU employees may make comments on the report by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or to the Agency. Those wishing to do so should refer to the Agency’s guidelines on this process on their website.
