Seeking mentors for the 2019 Audrey Fagan Board Traineeship Program

The ACT Office for Women is seeking ACT community, business and Government boards and committees to participate in the Audrey Fagan Board Traineeship Program (the Program). This program was established in 2018 and comprises a series of workshops, and an associated mentoring program, for women considering becoming a Member or Director of a Board or Committee.

Mentoring Programme for New Academic Writers Australian Feminist Studies

In 2015 the editors of Australian Feminist Studies started a mentoring programme. Continuing with this programme for 2019, we are accepting applicants to work with us across the next year to develop a manuscript based on original research for publication in the journal.

Audrey Fagan Board Traineeship Program

The Board Traineeship Program is a new program in 2018 and the objective is to develop the skills and expertise of ACT women in order to increase their participation in decision-making and leadership roles.

Curious minds mentor a female student in STEM

We are looking for 40 enthusiastic women from science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) backgrounds to join our mentoring program for 2017/2018. You will be supporting bright, Indigenous and non-Indigenous Australian female students, from Years 9 and 10, with the aim to encourage their continuance of STEM studies.
